Common Voices
advocates participated in the 20th Annual
Congressional Fire Services Institute activities
the week of April 1-4, 2008 in Washington, D.C.
Advocates used their time in our nation's
Capitol to conduct follow-up visits to key
Senators and Congressman, continuing their
support of the Fire Sprinkler Incentive Act.
Common Voices advocates also joined over 2,200
fire service leaders for the annual dinner held
at the Washington Hilton on Connecticut Avenue.

The Common Voices Advocates' Coalition met October 21-22, 2007 in
conjunction with the
NFSA Board of Directors meeting in New York City, New York.

Bonnie Woodruff joined the Fire Team USA team in Pinehurst,
North
Carolina for the NC delivery. Bonnie joined Vickie Pritchett
during her
"Mobilizing the Community" segment to close out day one of
the
workshop. Participants enjoyed hearing from one of the
Common Voices
advocates first-hand and were delighted to have Bonnie join
them!
